Star Wars Week, 2019: Day 2
It is day 2 of our Star Wars Week celebration, and we’ve got something kinda neat. At least, we think so.
In Disneyland, there is an attraction (at the time of this writing) called Star Wars Launch Bay. Inside are various models, props, costumes, etcetera. One section of the exhibit is designed much like the cantina seen in “A New Hope.” It’s not a replica; it just takes a lot of design cues from it.
On one isolated wall of the “cantina” is a logo of a multi-armed droid with some text beneath it, and it looked like such a cool design that we had to recreate it. Of course, we turned it into both a Star Wars avatar and a Star Wars desktop wallpaper for everyone to enjoy. We also did a little bit of sleuthing, and the text in the logo reads “Treadwell Casino.”
