“If you haven’t visited The Disney Experience’s celebration of Disneyland’s 50th birthday, then you’re missing out on some of the best stuff on the internet today.”

“At long last, someone created a Disneyland castle paper model.”

-Danny’s Land

“And the simplest, but perhaps the most fun is project 22, a paper model of both the old and new Disney Marquees at the entrance to the park.”
-Paper Forest

These are just a few sites that have been praising the Disney Experience lately, which seems to have jumped dramatically since July. Further praise has popped up on countless message boards and foreign Web sites, especially in Japan—they really do love paper models.

Furthermore, I’d like to share an email that I received back in June:

“I was at Imagineering about two weeks ago. As we were walking though the halls, the Imagineer giving the tour was telling us stories about what goes on. He said that during a ‘bring your kid to work day’, Chris Crump (Rolly Crump’s son) held a break out group where the kids got to assemble a model. I asked which model and he shown me… It was your Tower of Terror model. He said that people at Imagineering LOVE to build those things. I just thought I would e-mail and let you know that. It would literally be an honor.”

An honor indeed.
