Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments: July 15, 2017
Summer is close at hand, and that means that Hallmark will begin releasing their Keepsake Ornaments. This year, we’ll be showing only the ornaments that will be available on July 15. There will be two more releases later on in the year (October 7, and November 3), and we’ll showcase those, too.
If you’d like to see all of the ornaments that Hallmark offers, flip through their Dream Book. You can browse through it online or pick up a physical copy at your local Hallmark store.
Symbols
There are many types of ornaments available with one or more features. Here’s a breakdown of some symbols that you may see:
- These special ornaments plug in to a special power cord (sold separately), and are designed to interact with each other through light, sound, and/or motion. The more that you plug into a single cord, the more interactions you unlock.
- This special cord is used for powering Storyteller ornaments. Seven ornaments can be plugged into a single cord.
- Magic ornaments features some sort of electrical component featuring sound, motion, and/or lights.
- A mini ornament is usually between 1-2 inches in height . . . possibly smaller. Be sure not to lose these on the tree!
Disney Ornaments
Star Wars Ornaments
These two ornaments are part of the interactive Storytellers series. The third ornament, an X-Wing Starfighter, will be released on October 7.
More Star Wars ornaments are coming later in the year, including two “The Last Jedi” ornaments.
If you didn’t get one last year, the remote-controlled Death Star tree topper is back in limited quantities.
Marvel Ornaments
Baby Groot will be joined by a couple more Marvel characters later in the year.
