Captain Hook’s Galley Pirate Ship Restaurant
Last month, we premiered the Disneyland Pirate Ship Restaurant paper model, which is a recreation of the Chicken of the Sea Pirate Ship Restaurant. We also hinted at plans for a modification that would allow builders to assemble the Captain Hook’s Galley Pirate Ship Restaurant version. After digging for some sorely needed reference photos, we were able to create the paper model modification far ahead of schedule.
The 49 paper model parts span over 5 pages. The most notable changes are the logos, the inclusion of a teal color on the hull, the removal of the mermaid figurehead, and the nearly all-yellow ship stern. These were changes that Disneyland had to make after losing their Chicken of the Sea sponsorship.

As a kid, that was my favorite place to get lunch. The “tuna boat” sandwich. Tuna salad on a hot dog bun! I thought that was so cool, lol.
