2 Crafts Inspired by Duckburg
Let’s take a trip to Duckburg and see what fun we can gather today.
First up is a quick and simple craft, turning a tissue box into Uncle Scrooge’s money bin. It’s a fun place for kids to stash their money—although it’s not as secure as Scrooge’s real money bin. This is perfect for use with play money or Mouse Bucks.
The next project allows you to create a small paper craft rendition of Duckburg. At least, it’s a version of how a German magazine imagined it. Scrooge’s money bin has the letters ‘DD’ on the front instead of an American dollar sign ($). Is this a German rendition of the Deutsche Mark? You may also see other familiar Disney characters as it appears that Mickey, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy all have homes in Duckburg. It’s silly, but lots of fun for kids. Also, keep in mind that all text is in German.
