7 Disney Valentine’s Day Recipes That Say “I Love You”
Valentine’s day is nearly upon us (it’s just 1 week away!), and if you haven’t been able to find a gift, you might want to try these mouth-watering Disney Valentine’s Day recipes. After all, the best way to anyone’s heart is through their stomach.
We’ve gathered these valentine recipes from Disney Family, so you know they’re going to go all out on the Disney theme. Let’s have a look . . .
Hidden Mickey Pepperoni Pizza
Who doesn’t love pizza? This one is extra special, though, because of the heart shape and the hidden Mickey pepperoni slices. The best part is that the chef gets to eat the leftover pepperoni bits after cutting out the Mickey shapes. Yum!
Allergy-Friendly: Queen of Hearts’ Tarts
We’re not sure if we’ve ever had a tart. We presume that it’s something akin to a Pop Tart. These strawberry-filled tarts (is that a hint of coconut?) are allergy-friendly, so eat your heart’s desire.
Allergy-Friendly: The Beast and Belle’s Enchanted Rose Tart
What’s this; another allergy-friendly tart!? The Queen of Hearts would be jealous of these roses—they don’t have to be painted red. The roses are made from apple slices, and they are placed upon a light-seasoned pastry crusts.
Mickey’s Chocolate-Dipped Valentine Cookies
Come on, you knew there were going to be cookies. With a heart-shaped cookie cutter, some red food coloring, and some candy, you can take plain sugar cookies to a whole new world. (Okay, we stole that line from Aladdin & Jasmine. Don’t tell!) If you’re not into black licorice, we suggest piping white chocolate for Mickey’s buttons instead.
Tink’s Tiny Valentine Cookies
Let’s take a moment to remember the little ones. No, we’re not talking about the children; we’re talking about fairies. Inspired by Tinker Bell, these glittery, green sugar cookies are adorned with tiny flowers and pearls. Would J.M. Barrie like to have these with a cup of tea?
Mickey & Minnie Cookie Dough Crispy Pops
These pops are half cookie dough (the edible kind) and half Rice Krispy Treat. Who knew the two could be combined!? Topped with melted chocolate and sprinkles, if this doesn’t satify your sweet tooth, nothing will. Popsicle sticks are supposed to be inserted through the bottom of the Mickey heads, but everyone will have just as much fun eating them with their hands.
Mickey Valentine Cookies
Practically no one likes those chalky heart-shaped candies, yet they sell like hotcakes every year. Step it up this year, and make Mickey-shaped cookies inspired by those candies. They’re bigger, tastier, and Disney-er. Wait . . . that’s not a word.
Anyway, grab yourself a Mickey-shaped cookie cutter and get to baking. If you try any of these or other ideas, let us know, and send in a picture. We’d love to see how your creations turn out.
