1960 Disneyland Pop-Up Map
The kids are out of school, and by this time, they’re driving you nuts because they’re bored. Well, lock yourself in a room and chill out with this simple papercraft.
This Disneyland pop-up map came out in 1960 as a child’s placemat. When their meals were finished, kids could punch out this fun map. Honestly, it’s amazing that any of them didn’t get slathered in food.
Most of the pop-up features are straight-forward, but the Matterhorn has some extra dimension to it. Be sure to cut the sides of the waterfall ONLY; the top and bottom of the waterfall will fold. Gently bend the middle of the waterfall to get the Matterhorn to stand up. It’s only slightly tricky but well worth the effort.
