10 Magical Years

Ten years ago today, the Wonderful World of Icons debut on the Internet with a Tripod account. Over the years, it eventually morphed into the Disney Experience and what you see here today. We’ve had a lot of adventures here with guest submissions, eBay scammers, and Disney. Good or bad, it was all worth the journey!
Feel free to leave any anniversary comments. I’d especially like to hear from any Imagineers, theme park Cast Members (current & former), and any other Disney employees. Well, provided company policy allows. But, all are more than welcome.
To celebrate the tenth anniversary, the end of Disney papercraft approvals (that couldn’t have come at a better time), and the Halloween season, I’m releasing the Wicked Queen’s Heart Box paper model.
There are a couple more (at least!) Halloweenish goodies coming this month, including the Halloween treat for the Doorless Chambers event (October 25-31).
Thanks so much for everything you have done for the Disney community! Your website is amazing! I love all of the graphics and I hope to someday be able to create beautiful websites and graphics just like you! I really like the Halloween overlay and I can’t wait for Doorless Chambers (I love that website design and graphics also)! I only found your website about six months ago but now I check it everyday for new updates (it’s my homepage!!) I am really excited for the Sleeping Beauty Castle Pop-Up Card!! Thank you for your well-designed and detailed paper models. I have been to numerous paper model sites, but yours is the best one I have ever found! Thanks for your dedication and many hours you put into this website each week! Happy 10th Anniversary!! I hope this website stays up for another 50 years!!

What a tremendous milestone for this site that is so rich in the diverse nature of what can be found here. The use of color, texture, and the web contrivances is as sophisticated as many sites created for larger companies. Congratulations on a job well done. I know you are proud and you should be.
